Using the LibrariesBorrowing books * Helpful websites * Specialized library collections * Help with research * Careers in library and information fields Borrowing Books from NEW ERA LibrariesAll NEW ERA Libraries now offer a "NEW ERA Library Card", which allows the holder to check out library materials from any of the 12 participating NEW ERA partner colleges with one card. The library cards are available at no cost to community members (as defined by each institution) and students, faculty, and staff of NEW ERA institutions. To apply for a NEW ERA library card, complete an application form and present valid Wisconsin identification at any of the participating libraries. Contact your local NEW ERA library for more information about the library card policies. Want to see if a library near you owns a particular item? Search in WorldCat.org -- WorldCat searches library catalogs across the country, including the NEW ERA libraries, and will list the closest libraries that own what you're looking for.
